Authors are required to appropriately acknowledge and cite the work, ideas, data, and findings of other researchers, even when such work or ideas are not directly quoted or are presented in paraphrased form. This requirement applies to previously published, unpublished, and electronically available sources.

Failure to properly acknowledge or cite the work of others may constitute plagiarism. Plagiarism in any form is considered unethical publishing behavior and will not be tolerated by Jurnal Riset Diwa Bahari (JRDB).

Before a manuscript can be accepted for publication, Jurnal Riset Diwa Bahari (JRDB) conducts plagiarism screening using Turnitin or an equivalent similarity detection application.
