2. Types of Manuscripts

JRDB accepts the following types of scholarly manuscripts:

3. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) and must follow the official JRDB manuscript template. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is clearly written, consistently formatted, and complete before submission.

4. Manuscript Structure

Original research manuscripts should generally follow the structure below:

5. Title, Authors, Abstract and Keywords

• The title should be clear, concise, specific, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
• All authors should be listed using their full names and institutional affiliations.
• The corresponding author must be clearly identified and provide an active email address.
• Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iDs.
• The abstract should briefly describe the background, objective, methods, principal results, and conclusion.
• The abstract should be written as a concise and informative summary of the manuscript.
• Authors should provide 3–5 keywords representing the main concepts of the manuscript.

6. Introduction

The Introduction should clearly explain the background and significance of the research, relevant previous studies, the research gap, the originality or novelty of the study, and the objectives of the research.

7. Materials and Methods

The methods section should provide sufficient information to allow readers to understand the research procedures and, where appropriate, reproduce the study.

• Data collection procedures
• Variables or parameters
• Analytical and statistical methods
• Software or analytical tools where applicable

9. Conclusion

The conclusion should directly address the research objectives and summarize the principal findings. New data or information that has not been presented in the manuscript should not be introduced in the conclusion.

10. Tables and Figures

• Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively according to their order of appearance.
• Each table and figure must have a clear title or caption.
• All tables and figures must be referred to in the main text.
• Figures should have sufficient resolution and be clearly readable.
• Authors must ensure that copyrighted images or data are used with appropriate permission.

11. References

References must be relevant to the manuscript, consistently formatted, and correspond to all citations appearing in the text.

12. Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, animals, sensitive data, or other activities requiring ethical approval must comply with applicable ethical standards and obtain approval from the relevant ethics committee where required.

13. Authorship and Author Contributions

• All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution to the research or manuscript.
• All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.
• The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal.
• Changes to the authorship after submission must be communicated to and approved by the editorial office.
• Authors should provide an Author Contribution Statement where applicable.

14. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, institutional, or other relationships that could influence the research or interpretation of the results.

15. Funding Statement

Authors must disclose all sources of financial support for the research and publication.

16. Data Availability Statement

Authors should provide information regarding the availability of research data where applicable.

17. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Authors must disclose the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted technologies in the preparation of the manuscript. AI tools must not be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of all submitted content.

18. Plagiarism and Originality

All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplication, and other forms of academic misconduct. Authors must properly acknowledge and cite all sources used in the manuscript.

19. Copyright and Licensing

Authors should review the journal's Copyright Notice and applicable Creative Commons licensing terms before submitting a manuscript.

20. Publication Fee

There are no submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or peer-review fees. The publication fee is applied only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
