Anonymous reviewers evaluate manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Riset Diwa Bahari (JRDB) through a double-blind peer-review process. The review process is conducted to ensure the scientific quality, originality, relevance, contribution, and validity of the sources and references presented in the manuscript.

Evaluation Process
Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by anonymous reviewers through a double-blind peer-review process based on their contribution, originality, relevance, scientific quality, and presentation. The editorial team will communicate the review results to the authors as soon as possible. The review process is generally expected to take 2–3 weeks; however, under certain circumstances, the process may take up to 2 months.

Review Criteria
Reviewers assess manuscripts primarily in terms of their scientific quality and substantive content, rather than merely their language and grammar. The assessment covers novelty, originality, usefulness, relevance, substantive quality, and the validity of citations and references.

Confidentiality and Reviewer Competence
Reviewers receive manuscripts anonymously from the section editor or editorial office through the double-blind peer-review system. If a manuscript falls outside their field of expertise or competence, reviewers may decline the assignment and recommend another reviewer with more appropriate expertise.

Reviewer Qualifications
Prospective reviewers are expected to have an interest and commitment to contributing to the improvement of journal quality. They should also possess relevant academic expertise and competence in accordance with the focus and scope of Jurnal Riset Diwa Bahari.

Reviewer Registration
Prospective reviewers who are interested in joining the reviewer team may contact the editorial office and register through the journal website. Prospective reviewers are required to complete the Call for Reviewer Form as part of the registration and verification process.

Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and academically grounded assessments to help improve the quality of submitted manuscripts and maintain the scientific integrity of publications in Jurnal Riset Diwa Bahari (JRDB).
