Authors are invited to submit original research articles to MARFIG: Journal of Fisheries and Marine Resource Management. Before submitting a manuscript, authors are required to carefully review the journal's Author Guidelines and ensure that their manuscript complies with all submission requirements.

Authors should ensure that the manuscript meets the journal's scope, formatting requirements, ethical standards, and submission policies. Manuscripts that do not comply with the requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before proceeding to the editorial review process.

Required Submission Requirements

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check and confirm compliance with all of the following requirements. Submissions may be returned to authors if they do not adhere to these guidelines.

01. Originality and Exclusive Submission

The submission has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal. If applicable, an explanation must be provided in the Comments to the Editor.

02. Manuscript File Format

The submission file is provided in an acceptable document format, including OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF.

03. Reference URLs

Where available, URLs for references have been provided to facilitate verification and access to the cited sources.

04. Manuscript Formatting

The manuscript uses single spacing and a 12-point font. Italics are used instead of underlining, except for URL addresses. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points rather than at the end of the manuscript.

05. Author Guidelines

The manuscript complies with the stylistic, structural, formatting, and bibliographic requirements outlined in the MARFIG Author Guidelines.
