Peer Review Process

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees through blind peer review for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The editors will notify the review results as soon as possible, expected between 2-3 weeks. Please note that the review process may take up to 2 months to submit a paper to Indonesian Journal of Coastal and Marine Studies

Reviewers examine the text from the aspect of quality and substance of the writing (not the grammar of the text), which includes freshness, originality, usefulness, and validity of citations and bibliography.

Reviewers receive double-blind review manuscripts (anonymous authors) from the section editor or editorial secretariat. If it does not match their competence, the reviewer has the right to reject the manuscript and recommend it to other more competent reviewers.

Prospective reviewers should have an interest and enthusiasm for improving the quality of the journal and have the competence to follow the scope of the scientific journal.

Prospective reviewers contact the editorial secretariat to register on the journal website. In this case, prospective reviewers must fill out the Call For Reviewer Form.
